5 DANGEROUS SIGNS YOUR BODY IS GIVING YOU THAT YOU ARE FOOLISHLY IGNORING "BY FAITH"
Faith does not make you foolish.
Faith does not tell you to ignore wisdom.
Some of you are calling sickness "the devil is trying me" when your body has been shouting for HELP for months.
Stop quoting scriptures over what needs a doctor. God gave you the doctor too.
Here are 5 dangerous signs you must not ignore by faith:
1. CONSTANT CHEST PAIN, PRESSURE OR TIGHTNESS — ESPECIALLY WHEN WALKING OR CLIMBING.
You say "it's just gas, I have prayed."
But if your chest tightens, burns, or feels heavy when you walk fast, carry load, or climb stairs, and it goes away when you rest — don't ignore it.
That can be your heart crying for oxygen. High blood pressure, blocked heart vessels, heart attack warning.
Faith will not clear a blocked artery. Faith will move you to go for check-up NOW.
2. YOU ARE ALWAYS TIRED, ALWAYS WEAK, EVEN AFTER SLEEPING.
You sleep 7-8 hours, but you wake up exhausted. You climb small stairs and you are breathless. Your eyes are pale inside.
That's not laziness. That's not spiritual attack.
It can be low blood (anemia), low sugar, thyroid problem, infection, or your body not making enough red blood.
Go and do full blood count, check your BP, sugar, and see a doctor. Praying without checking is presumption, not faith.
3. SUDDEN, FREQUENT HEADACHES, BLURRED VISION, OR NUMBNESS ON ONE SIDE.
If your headache is now different — very severe, frequent, wakes you from sleep, comes with vomiting, blurred vision, or your hand/leg suddenly feels numb or weak.
Don't just bind and cast. That can be dangerously high blood pressure, stroke warning, or something in the brain.
God heals, but God also expects you to act quickly. Stroke does not wait for 21 days fasting to finish. Rush to hospital.
4. UNEXPLAINED WEIGHT LOSS, NIGHT SWEATS, OR A SORE/LUMP THAT IS NOT HEALING.
You are losing weight but you are not dieting. You sweat at night, you see blood in urine, stool, cough, or you have a lump in breast, neck, armpit that has stayed for weeks, or a wound that refuses to heal.
You say "it will go by faith."
My brother/sister, that is how many people discover late.
Early check-up saves life. Late "faith" becomes regret. Go for screening now. Faith and medical screening are not enemies.
5. YOUR URINE, STOOL, OR SLEEP PATTERN HAS CHANGED DRASTICALLY.
You urinate too much at night, always thirsty, always hungry. Or you no longer urinate well, your legs are swollen in the evening.
Or your stool is now black, with blood, or you no longer go to toilet for days.
Or you snore very loudly and wake up choking at night.
Your kidney, liver, sugar, prostate, colon may be calling for help.
Don't cover it with "I am healed." Confess healing, but also go for test — fasting blood sugar, kidney function, prostate check, BP, depending on your age.
LISTEN TO ME:
I believe in healing. I pray for the sick. I have seen God heal.
But the same God who heals also gave you a body that SPEAKS. And He gave doctors wisdom to help.
True faith says:
"Lord, I trust You for healing, and I will use the wisdom and hospital You provided for me."
Foolishness says:
"I will not go to hospital, I will just be praying."
Even Paul told Timothy: "Take a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities." 1 Timothy 5:23 — He did not say continue praying alone. He gave medical advice.
What to do this week:
- Stop ignoring it. Write down what you feel.
- Tell your spouse or trusted person.
- Go to a proper hospital in Lagos for general check — BP, sugar, blood level, urine. Don't go to chemist, go to hospital.
- Keep praying, but also obey treatment.
- Rest, drink water, reduce salt, reduce sugary drinks, walk small, sleep.
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor 6:19. You must take care of the temple, not just the spirit inside the temple.
Don't die foolishly in the name of faith. Live wisely by faith.
