Family Restoration Ministry International
Welcome to Lifeboat Rescuing Church of Christ.
We are a Bible-believing Christian ministry with a simple desire: to lead people to Jesus Christ, teach the Word of God, strengthen families, and help people discover the hope and freedom that can only be found in God.
We believe that people need Christ, families need restoration, and the Word of God must remain the foundation of our lives.
OUR BEGINNING
The vision behind this ministry was received on 5 August 1995, when God gave the mandate:
“Teach them to look up and walk in the light of My love for their liberation.”
That word became a guiding principle for the ministry—to encourage people to look to God, walk in His light, understand His love, and experience the freedom that comes through Jesus Christ.
Lifeboat Christian Church was officially established on 23 May 2012 in Shomolu, Lagos, Nigeria.
Since then, the ministry has continued to reach people with the Gospel, teach God's Word, encourage believers, and minister to families and individuals going through difficult seasons.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is:
To rescue the lost and restore the families of men to the glory and praise of God.
We believe the Gospel is more than bringing people into a church building. It is about bringing people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we are committed to:
Preaching Jesus Christ and the Gospel.
Teaching the Word of God.
Encouraging people to turn to God.
Strengthening marriages and families.
Helping believers grow in faith.
Encouraging prayer and obedience to God's Word.
Giving hope to people who are hurting, discouraged, or searching for direction.
OUR VISION
Our desire is to see lives transformed by the power of God's Word and people becoming a positive influence in their families and communities.
We believe that the message of Christ must reach people not only inside the church, but also in their homes, workplaces, communities, and everyday lives.
As the Apostle Paul said:
“I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.”

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Holy Bible is the Word of God and the foundation of our faith and Christian life.
We believe in:
Jesus Christ — the Son of God and Saviour of the world.
Salvation — through faith in Jesus Christ and genuine repentance.
God's Word — as the truth that teaches, corrects, strengthens, and transforms us.
Prayer — as an essential part of our relationship with God.
The Family — as an institution established by God and worthy of protection and restoration.
Christian Living — as a daily walk of faith, obedience, love, and holiness.
OUR HEART FOR FAMILIES
One of the special burdens of this ministry is family restoration.
We understand that marriages and families sometimes go through very difficult seasons. Conflict, unforgiveness, financial pressure, disappointment, temptation, poor communication, and other challenges can deeply affect a home.
But we believe that:
A troubled family is not necessarily a finished family.
Where there is humility, prayer, wisdom, forgiveness, and a willingness to follow God's Word, restoration is possible.
Our desire is to help couples and families discover biblical principles that can bring healing, reconciliation, love, and renewed commitment to their homes.
OUR MANDATE
Our mandate remains:
“Go! Show them My light, give them My light and make them a light by teaching them to look up and walk in the light of My love for their liberation.”
This is not simply a statement to us.
It is a responsibility.
We want our preaching, teaching, prayers, writing, and service to continually point people toward Jesus Christ.
OUR MESSAGE TO YOU
If you are going through a difficult season, we want you to know:
You are not forgotten.
There is still hope.
God still cares about you and your family.
Your present situation does not have to be the end of your story.
Most importantly, we want you to discover the love, grace, forgiveness, and salvation found in Jesus Christ.
