Here at Lifeboat Christian Church (LCC), we are on a mission.
Our desire is to build a community of people whose lives are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who, in turn, become instruments of positive transformation in their families, communities, and society.
We are committed to raising people who will know Christ, live by His Word, walk in His power, and influence their generation for God's glory.

THE SEVEN PILLARS OF LCC
The major areas of our ministry focus are built around the heavenly mandate entrusted to God's servant, Apostle Edward C. Freedom.
These seven pillars are drawn from Revelation 5:12, which declares:
“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”

We understand these seven expressions as a picture of what Christ has obtained through His death and resurrection and what His people are called to walk in under His Lordship.
1. POWER
We believe that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation and that believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live for Christ and fulfil God's purpose.
Key Scriptures: Matthew 10:1; Matthew 28:18; Luke 10:19; John 1:12; Acts 1:8; Acts 4:33; Romans 1:16; Acts 10:38; Romans 15:19; 1 Corinthians 2:4.
2. RICHES — PROVISION & PROSPERITY
We believe that God cares about the needs of His people and desires us to live responsibly, generously, faithfully, and according to His principles of stewardship and provision.
Key Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 8:9; 3 John 1:2; 1 Corinthians 16:2; Psalm 35:27; Zechariah 1:17.
3. WISDOM
We believe that true wisdom comes from God and enables His people to make sound decisions, live responsibly, and fulfil their purpose.
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

4. STRENGTH
We believe that God gives strength to His people in times of weakness, suffering, trials, and difficulties. Our strength ultimately comes from Him.
Key Scriptures: Isaiah 53:3–4; Jeremiah 8:22; Matthew 8:17.
5. HONOUR
We believe that honour begins with God and should be reflected in the way we live, serve, relate to others, and fulfil our responsibilities.
Key Scriptures: 2 Chronicles 1:11–12; Proverbs 22:4.
6. GLORY
We believe that everything we do as individuals and as a church should ultimately bring glory to God.
Our lives should reflect the goodness, character, and presence of Christ.
Key Scripture: Luke 11:27–28.
7. BLESSING
We believe that God's blessing brings His favour, peace, provision, fruitfulness, and purpose into the lives of His people.
We also believe that God's blessings are not merely for personal enjoyment but should enable us to become a blessing to others.
Key Scriptures: Psalm 3:8; Psalm 133:3; Proverbs 10:22; Proverbs 11:11; Ezekiel 34:26.
OUR CORE VALUES
Our values describe the principles that guide the way we worship, serve, teach, lead, and relate to people.
1. BIBLICAL FOCUS
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
Therefore, we are committed to teaching Scripture faithfully and applying its truth to everyday life so that sinners may come to Christ and believers may grow to spiritual maturity.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

2. THE CHURCH
We believe that the local church is established by God and has an important role in His purpose on earth.
We seek to build up believers, honour the body of Christ, and work in unity with other Bible-believing Christian churches and ministries.

3. WORLD MISSIONS
We are committed to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him.
We will use every legitimate opportunity and available means to reach the lost with the message of salvation.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

4. PRAYER
We believe that prayer is an essential part of the Christian life and the work of the church.
We believe that God hears the prayers of His people and that our ministries, decisions, plans, and activities should be built upon dependence on Him.

5. SERVICE
We are servants of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that Christian leadership is ultimately about serving God and serving people. We therefore seek to demonstrate the love of Christ through practical service to the church, families, and the wider community.
6. FAMILY
We believe that the family is important to God.
We are committed to strengthening marriages, nurturing children, supporting parents, and helping families build their homes on biblical principles.

7. EXCELLENCE
We believe that God deserves our best.
Therefore, whatever we do in ministry, we seek to do it with dedication, discipline, integrity, preparation, and excellence for the glory of God.
We encourage every believer to discover and develop the gifts God has given them and use those gifts faithfully.

8. PEOPLE
We believe that every person matters to God.
God works through people, and every individual has unique gifts, experiences, abilities, and potential.
We therefore seek to value people, develop people, encourage people, and help people discover God's purpose for their lives.
9. RELATIONSHIPS
We believe that healthy relationships are essential to spiritual growth and effective ministry.
People need people.
We therefore encourage genuine fellowship, love, accountability, friendship, mentorship, and mutual support within the body of Christ.
10. CREATIVE INNOVATION
Our message is timeless because the Gospel of Jesus Christ does not change.
However, we recognise that the world around us changes.
Therefore, we are willing to examine our methods, embrace appropriate innovation, and communicate the timeless truth of Scripture in ways that people can understand and apply to their lives.

11. TEAMWORK
We believe that ministry is a shared responsibility.
We value cooperation, collaboration, communication, coordination, unity, and mutual support because saving and restoring lives is not the responsibility of one person alone.
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:9
And:
“So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”
— Romans 12:5
12. FEEDBACK & CONTINUOUS GROWTH
We value honest, respectful, and Spirit-led feedback.
Constructive comments, suggestions, observations, advice, and criticism can help us identify areas where we need to improve and develop.
We do not believe that listening to others makes us weak. We believe that a wise person is willing to learn.

We therefore encourage an atmosphere where people can speak respectfully, listen carefully, learn from one another, and continue growing.
OUR COMMITMENT
At Lifeboat Christian Church, we are not simply building a congregation.
We are building people.
We are raising men and women who know God, love His Word, serve others, strengthen their families, and make a difference in their generation.
Our prayer is that every person who comes into contact with this ministry will be drawn closer to Jesus Christ and equipped to fulfil God's purpose for his or her life.
