you may have money, education, family, and religion. But without Jesus, you are
empty. Here are
10 undeniable proofs that YOU NEED JESUS CHRIST today:
1. BECAUSE YOU ARE A SINNER BY BIRTH AND BY
CHOICE
“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in
sin did my mother conceive me.” — Psalm 51:5
“For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23
You
didn’t learn to lie — it came naturally. Sin is in your blood. Only the blood
of Jesus can wash you clean. 1 John 1:7
2. BECAUSE DEATH IS CERTAIN AND JUDGMENT IS
REAL
“And as it is appointed unto men once to
die, but after this the judgment” — Hebrews 9:27
You
have a birth certificate. You will have a death certificate. No one escapes.
After death, your lawyer cannot help you. Only Jesus your Advocate can. 1 John
2:1
3. BECAUSE YOUR GOOD WORKS CANNOT SAVE
YOU
“Not by works of righteousness which we
have done, but according to his mercy he saved us” — Titus 3:5
If good
works could save, Jesus died for nothing. Galatians 2:21. Your best behavior is
“filthy rags” before a holy God. Isaiah 64:6. You need Jesus, not your
goodness.
4. BECAUSE YOUR HEART IS RESTLESS WITHOUT
HIM
“Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and
our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee.” — Augustine
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Money
can’t cure emptiness. Sex can’t cure loneliness. Drugs can’t cure depression.
Only Jesus fills the God-shaped vacuum.
5. BECAUSE SATAN IS REAL AND HE WANTS TO
DESTROY YOU
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy” — John 10:10
Sickness,
accident, addiction, sudden death — the devil is behind it. 1 Peter 5:8. You
are in a battle you cannot win without Jesus. He came “that he might destroy
the works of the devil” — 1 John 3:8.
6. BECAUSE YOU CANNOT FORGIVE YOURSELF OR
BREAK YOUR CHAINS
“If the Son therefore shall make you free,
ye shall be free indeed.”
— John 8:36
You’ve
tried to stop lying, fornicating, smoking, hating. You promised “never again”
and fell again. Willpower fails. Jesus doesn’t. He breaks yokes. Isaiah 10:27
7. BECAUSE ALL OTHER WAYS LEAD TO HELL
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a
man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” — Proverbs 14:12
“Neither
is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12
No one
has ever risen from the dead who is still alive and remains alive. No other
religion's holy Prophets ever rose from the dead. Your ancestors didn’t rise.
Only Jesus conquered the grave. Follow a dead man or a Living Savior?
8. BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER
TOMORROW
“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the
morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour” — James 4:14
COVID
proved it. Road accidents prove it. Cardiac arrest proves it. You can sleep and
not wake up. If you die without Jesus, you enter eternity unprepared. Luke
12:20
9. BECAUSE YOU NEED PEACE THAT THIS WORLD
CANNOT GIVE
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give
unto you: not as the world giveth” — John 14:27
Valium
is temporary. Alcohol is temporary. Vacation is temporary. Jesus gives peace in
the storm. Mark 4:39. Presidents don’t have it. Billionaires don’t have it. But
a poor man with Jesus sleeps well.
10. BECAUSE HEAVEN IS REAL AND YOU WERE
MADE FOR
IT
“In my Father's house are many mansions… I
go to prepare a place for you.” — John 14:2
“And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying” — Revelation 21:4
You
were not made for Lagos traffic, Nigerian hardship, and then grave. You were
made for eternity with God. But sin blocked the road. Jesus is the new and
living way. Hebrews 10:20
WHAT MUST YOU DO?
“Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” — Acts 16:31
PRAY THIS PRAYER NOW:
“Lord Jesus, I
admit I need You. I am a sinner. I cannot save myself. I believe You died for
me and rose again. Forgive me. Come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. I
receive You now. Thank You for saving me. Amen!”
If you
