Listen , Satan is after you!
The devil is trying to crush you.
This is not a joke, wake up!!
See, you may lose your job but your job is not what Satan is after
You may have your business burnt down and all gone, but your means of livelihood is not the point
You may have turbulence in marriage, but your marriage is not really Satan's target
As a pastor, you may lose followership or suffer the blows of betrayal, or any of the woes of ministry, but really, those things are not Satan's focus
Understand that Satan is not after what you have, Satan is after you.
Satan is after your faith.
Your heart is his target. That is what he wants to pollute.
The real trouble is not that things happened to you,
the real trouble is if you lose your faith because of what happened to you.
Satan really doesn't care about your fame or fortune, as long as he can tamper with the condition of your heart..
Satan doesn't care about your marriage, your business, your reputation or any of those things if he can crush your faith in God.
Infact the only reason he attacks those things is because he knows how important those things are to men, so he comes to try you too to see if he can get to your faith through those things.
Don't let him win!
Luke 22:31-32
[31]And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
[32]But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Once you give up in prayer and in meditating on God's word, Satan knows he has gotten you.
Once you get into offence and pride, Satan has gotten you.
Don't let that happen.
Keep your fire burning!
Keep your faith alive!
Stay away from offence or bitterness.
Let nothing that happens to you on the outside affect this treasure inside, i.e your faith
Satan can't touch your faith directly, so he uses outward things you are attached to in order to get to your faith.
So detach.
The more you detach from material and external things, the more you are untouchable.
Detach from the things of this world.
Don't give them power to ruin your peace or destroy your faith.
Detach from putting your trust in man, so you don't fall into offence when man fails you
The battle is fierce, soldiers brace up!
Yeah in all these things, we are more than conquerors!!!
Open your mouth now and mutter in the Spirit.
